The New York Daily News sat down with Makeda Barnes-Joseph:“I sit here and I try to think every day, ‘Why is she doing that?’ How can she deny that?’” the 23-year-old realty office administrative assistant told the New York Daily News. “I’m basically confined to the bed now. It’s really hard. It really hurts.”
